Acton Gas Safety Inspection This inspections was quite concerning as apparently it had been checked every year but there were quite a lot of defects that would have shut the boiler off on previous visits. There was a hole into the fabric of the building right next to the flue, pipework from the Meter was not earth bonded, Gas pipework not clipped and Gas pipe which enters the building plastered over (if the pipe leaked Gas it has to flow out of the building). Distances with the flue were also checked and just within limits. The boiler itself, although old was still ok to operate. I was able to remedy the problems and issue a certificate.
