Chiswick Gas Boiler Replacement
I was called to house in Chiswick as the owner had noticed water leaking from the bottom of the boiler!
On closer inspection the condensate trap was not draining correctly due to the previous installation and it had not been serviced since it was installed as this could have been picked up earlier and dealt with. As no previous service had been done, the water had been allowed to eat through the bottom of the casing and therefore had to be replaced.
The customer went for the same Worcester Bosch heat only boiler, a very good brand!
The installation was straight forward even though it is a heavy beast. They provide a back plate was installed to the wall first and then the jig, a small adjustment on the pipework and the new boiler and flue on.
After all connections are made Gas is tested first, no leak and then the Central heating is filled and tested for leaks. All good. Finally Gas analysis and air analysis were recorded, which all passed.
A filter was added to this system to protect the boiler from Magnatite, which will be clean on the boilers annual service. Adey sell a good product which is easy to maintain.
