Boston Manor Central Heating Repair

Boston Manor Central Heating Repair Was called out to this property where the down stairs heating was not functioning. I found that the system general was old and poorly maintained, but with a new boiler. So could there be sludge in the system? Or a sticking / faulty valve? Or something else? I checked where the heating was stopping and checked the motorised valves. These were a little stiff, but got them freed up and tested the boilers operation with them opening one by one, all good. Air was bleed out of each radiator, which didn’t make much difference. I did notice that the pump was either installed incorrectly or had moved since installation. I isolated it and repositioned it and then it worked, getting the Central Heating back to the way it was. I put in a Central Heating Cleaner and added my Adey double Magnetic filter to the Central Heating system for a week to pick up anything that may be floating around, but really it was pretty clean for an Open Vented System.
