Radiator installation, The Vale Kingston

Radiator installation, The Vale Kingston The property already had new radiators in the rest of the property, but there was an old one that needed changing in the Kitchen. So I drained down the system and got the Wet Vacuum to suck out any remaining water and set about removing the old one. The old radiator was a single panel and with radiators being double panelled and double convector the client was able to purchase a small size but with a greater heat output. The pipe work had to be adjusted to cope with the smaller size, but as the floorboards were easy to take up this was not a drama. After the radiator was installed and system refilled I did notice a weep on one of the valves. This meant I had to drain the system down again, remove the union from the radiator, reapply PTFE tap and refit. Once this was checked I was happy to reintroduce inhibitor back into the Central Heating system. Job done! This took around 3-4 hours in total.
